Living organically
Okay so I am not here to lecture you, but rather inform you as to why I live organically.
A few years ago my mom was diagnosed with cancer so I went on this whole organic kick and it honestly change my life. I went down the rabbit hole and discovered a lot of shit.
I used to suffer from severe eczema and very bad seasonal allergies to the point where I would look like Will Smith in Hitch. I would have to get prednisone injections and pills as the only way my allergies were contained. Miraculously once I change my diet and my lifestyle the inflammation went away.
I want to try to make this short and sweet .
1: Don’t eat anything with the entire alphabet or made with chemicals you can’t pronounce.
example:
Azodicarbonamide (also known as ADA)
it is chemical substance approved for use as a whitening agent in cereal flour and as a dough conditioner in bread. It makes bread bake faster and it is ALSO used to make rubber for yoga mats and the bottom of your shoes. WTF no thank you 😳
Stick to food that is made with natural ingredients, preferably non GMO.
2: Avoid artificial sweeteners and corn syrup.
high fructose corn syrup is in damn near everything and it is one of the most common GMOs linked to cancer, acne, weight gain, auto immune deficiencies, and heart disease.
your body is meant to have natural things in it, not genetically modified chemicals.
3: Organic fruits/veggies and meats vs non organic make a huge difference .
Yes the price is more for organic food, but you actually get the nutritional value and not something filled with chemicals. Did you know you’re supposed to poop at least 2 times a day? If you’re not then you just have all this shit in you...you’re welcome, now go make yourself an organic smoothie with flaxseed.
Also go look closely at the difference between organic grass fed beef v.s USDA barely passed inspection meat. ORGANIC MEAT VS NONORGANIC ARE DIFFERENT COLORS. Even the texture is different , the quality of the meat is better when it’s organic.
4: organic and non toxic skin care.
your skin is your largest organ and it absorbs about 60% of what you put on it. Stay away from aluminum , talc, and other carcinogens in your daily beauty routine such as a solution deodorant body cream, etc.
My skin is super sensitive and my eczema added fuel to the fire, which is why I created my own line of products made with natural and organic ingredients. You don’t have to buy my products ( although it would be nice for the support) but be more conscious of what you put on and into your body.
With these changes in my daily lifestyle , not only did my skin clear up but my allergies did too!
I no longer suffer with embarrassing eczema on my face and body. I now can enjoy Spring air, although it still makes my eyes itchy -I don’t look like fucking Hitch so I’m embracing it with full arms. Also I didn’t mean to loose weight but making these changes in my diet made me drop about 15-20 pounds.
AND IM NOT ALONE 🙌
I have plenty of clients who have also suffered with autoimmune diseases like Crohn’s disease, and this lifestyle change helped a client off of her medication.
Now that you read this I hope I inspired you to strive for a healthier lifestyle. Granted, there’s chemicals in damn near everything so don’t be that person that doesn’t go out and eat public food, it’s inevitable to avoid all the bad stuff but if you can change the main daily things you eat/use, trust me you will feel better . 😘
