Happy books

Happy books

Happiness is a choice and way of life.

So positive energy goes a long way and energy is an amazing thing.  Whenever you put positive energy into something , it will always come back to you in the best kind of way.

Here are a few books I recommend that have given me a better perspective on how to live a happy life and truly enjoy it. I love self help or auto biographies, so here are my top reads :

1: The Four Doors-By Paul Richard Evans

”I will greet this day with love in my heart. For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures.“-OG Mandingo

One of my favorite books and it’s such an easy read! I read it in a day, which says something because it takes a lot to keep me still for that long.

2: The Alchemist- by Paulo Coelho

“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too....”

this book should be a movie. I felt like it helped me understand the language of the world better.

3: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck- by Mark Manson

” The key to a good life is not giving a fuck about more;  it’s giving a fuck about less, giving a fuck about only what is true and immediate and important.  “

4: Things Are What you Make of Them- by Adam J.Kurtz

Life advice for creatives...this book helps to set intentions and figure out your true self-especially as a creative individual.

5: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

“The key question to keep asking is, Are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have...”

Randy was diagnosed with cancer and was given a short time to live so he wrote this book to leave life lessons for his children. This book helps you figure out life and goals. Keep tissues next to you!

6: The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

”The smallest of change can make the biggest difference.”

7:  Oprah Winfrey Speaks By Janet Lowe

This book is an autobiography about this amazing soul who’s purpose in life was to make sure children did not suffer. Oprah is extremely inspirational and one of my idols. I found this book at a vintage book store and it makes my heart happy. Fun fact Oprah even smokes pot, which makes me love her even more! #oprahforpresident

 8: “The Celestine Prophecy “

If Deepak Chopra and Oprah recommend a book, you must read it. It’s all about how everything connects.
