Mallorca

La isla de Mallorca was my favorite! It’s only about a 1 hour flight to Mallorca from BCN.

Palma de Mallorca is a beautiful town to stay in. The center of town is about 17 minutes away from the airport and it’s perfect to start a road trip from this point.

Our Air bnb was perfectly in the middle of Palma.  It was super cute and chic.

I did not really get to explore Palma like I wanted to because there were so many places to see and things to do in Mallorca.
Time was limited. We landed Sunday and had to leave back to Barcelona Tuesday evening.

We literally dropped off our luggage at the Air Bnb and hit the road. After being in the city of Barcelona all weekend , we were ready to see some nice beaches.

Itinerary for road trip…

First stop: Deià

Mallorca was everything I pictured Spain would be. It’s not as congested and touristy like Barcelona.

The town was great to explore and walk around in. I kinda felt like I was in a Game of Thrones scene while walking here. I loved it!

Deià is a small coastal village tucked in the mountains, Cala Deià is a little beach that you can eat fresh fish and hang with locals and other tourist...there are 2 restaurants there.

I had fresh fish at Restaurant Ca’n Lluc .

The scenery was beautiful, the rocks were a little slippery and scary to walk on but I enjoyed it .

It was a fun pit stop, but Mallorca has so much to do and see!  It was getting late and we were getting tired and hungry for real food. We headed back to Palma for the night.

Where to eat in Palma:

  • Celler Sa Premsa

hands down the BEST PAELLA AND SANGRIA.

  • Bar Cuba

    yummy tapas & drinks.
